Exceptions

You can define Exceptions: these are cases where a REMEDYNE check will not create an alert although the condition is fulfilled.
This can be used to map approved processes to REMEDYNE rules and reduce the number of alerts.

To add an exception, go to /n/rem/admin, tab Exceptions, and add a new line:
Check: select from the list, or enter * for all checks.
Parameter: select from the list. Fields PARAM1-15: check table /REM/TMDATA in SE16, or look at one alert for the select check ID and count: PARAM1 is the first line below ´client´ in the alert details.
Value: this defines which cases will not create an alert. You can enter single values and use * as a wildcard in the form “char*”.
